​The Adventure in a nutshell: Travel with my friend Bobby D north to connect with the NW Passage Motorcycle Route & west to Eureka, MT. Then travel solo, north to Banff, AB, Canada and the Start of the Continental Divide Motorcycle Route, turn around and head south to Colorado Springs, CO utilizing the Continental Divide Route.

DAY 2: Seattle to Mazama, WA
Edmonds - Kinston ferry & Deception Pass
DAY 3: Mazama, WA to Lost Lake, WA
1st section of the route was closed due to fires. Down hiway 20 to Winthrop, turn north & onto our route.
Day 4: Lost Lake, WA to Bonaport, WA
On the NW Passage route
Down a mountain trail, around a corner, and this, right in front of us. What a fun suprise!
The KLR turned 30,000 miles. I've ridden 26,000 of those miles. A special moment !
Day 5: Bonaport, WA to Naples, ID
Day 6: Naples, ID to Eureka, MT
Day 7: Eureka, MT to Banff, Alberta, BC
It was cold as I rolled out of Eureka & snow was forecast for Banff
